Invited by Aurora Noreña, Aura Arreola articulates a sound and dance performance under the assumption that it’s possible to explore "latent lives of the sculptural pieces, which carry with them past lives and are on the threshold of new existences" (Noreña, 2022). Arreola speculates on these memories sedimented in matter, and dialogues with them through voice, movement and friction with Noreña's pieces. An exchange of weights, a play between human and non-human forms, which allow themselves to animate and be animated, to sustain and be sustained.
